Horisk designed and developed an easy-to-use website to interface with a third-party Hotel Management system.
LSE Vacations is an accommodation booking website to allow the public to book university accommodation during vacations. To check availability and make reservations it interfaces via a complex webservice with Opera from Oracle, an enterprise-level hotel management system. It also interfaces with Worldpay and SecureTrading to process credit card payments.
Subsequently we developed a suite of sites based on the same architecture but with different target markets – summer school students, academics, transit students etc. Between them the sites process a high volume of bookings with a 7-figure turnover.
Due to a change in their Hotel Management System in 2017 the LSE Vacations site which we built was no longer required after 7 years of service. However, we were retained to re-develop a student payments portal to access their new system (Guestline) and we continue to develop and maintain our Hallpad student accommodation management product for LSE.
