Fife Digital Development Business Efficiency Grants

Fife Council have announced an important new grant scheme to improve business efficiency for the SME’s based in Fife – Business Efficiency Grants.

This offers non-repayable grants of between £3,000 and £20,000 to help companies invest in Net Zero or Digital Development projects to improve their efficiency and competitiveness. All types of business are eligible, including tourism and town-centre businesses. The application process for the grants will be administered by Business Gateway Fife.

Could I be eligible?

Businesses must be an SME based in Fife. Examples of Digital Development Projects which Horisk could help you with include:

  • Online booking systems
  • Moving from a system of disparate Excel sheets to an integrated online system
  • Bespoke e-commerce and integrating e-commerce with back-end systems
  • Automating your quoting process
  • Moving to paperless systems for your HR, H&S, inspection etc processes
  • Developing customer portals for better communication and reporting
  • Improving inter-departmental communication
  • Bespoke customer relationship management processes
  • Integrate your existing systems (e.g. accounting systems and CRM) via APIs

Applications for the grant must be completed by a Business Gateway adviser, therefore you must be working with Business Gateway Fife to be considered. They can provide full advice on eligibility and the application process.

You'll need to provide detailed information about your business (including financial) and your proposed use of the funds (including quotes for proposed work) to complete the application.

What do I do next?

The Business Efficiency Grant is open for applications from 1 March 2024 until 30 April 2024, so don’t delay in getting started – Business Gateway are expecting a high volume of interest.
